Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks on long-haul and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies.
- Handle cargo with care and maintain cargo securement standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel out of state.
