Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional routes within the Oakland area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to all weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Current Medical Card and Hazmat endorsement (if applicable).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
