Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and digital delivery records.
- Ensure the safety of cargo and compliance with all traffic laws.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients at each stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Valid Commercial Driver's Manual.
