Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring items are protected during transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- No prior driving experience necessary (we train qualified candidates).
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate commerce.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
