Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no disqualifying offenses.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to undergo training if no prior experience.
