Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over designated routes in and around the Los Angeles area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and all necessary paperwork.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction.
- Uphold a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored training if no commercial driving experience is held.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills.
- Basic math and English skills for accurate documentation.
- Ability to lift and move cargo with assistance (up to 50 lbs).
