Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all required delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored paid training program.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service excellence.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel long distances as needed.
