Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and proper tie-down techniques.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) with a willingness to obtain the CDL through our training program.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and pass a background check.
- Valid DOT medical card is required.
