Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across the DC and NY region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Clean driving record (MVR) is required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be physically able to handle loading/unloading cargo and perform daily vehicle checks.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
