Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on or before the agreed-upon schedule.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely, following all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Clear criminal background check and MVR review.
- Willingness to undergo paid training and obtain necessary endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, etc.) if required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
