Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to customers in the Boston metro area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and strictly adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Uphold the company's high standards of cleanliness and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- No prior commercial driving experience required; we will train you!
- Must be willing to obtain a CDL A license and DOT Medical Card.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
