Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on all roadways.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections according to FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from the terminal.
- Must be willing to work night shifts (9 PM - 7 AM).
