Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes throughout Jacksonville, FL, and Georgia.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and manage all delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Willingness to travel to Georgia and operate in regional lanes.
