Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on designated night routes throughout Dallas and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and compliant driver logs (ELD) adhering to all DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo efficiently, ensuring weight distribution and load safety.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a mandatory Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and load planning procedures.
- Professional attitude and excellent time management skills.
