Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure strict compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Uphold the company’s high standards for safety and cargo protection at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safe driving practices.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
