Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes throughout New York and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DVIR) and manage delivery paperwork efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the State of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
