Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes within Tennessee and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper weight distribution
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging compliance
- Adapt to dynamic schedules while meeting on-time delivery targets
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and problem resolution
- Represent company values through professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Physical capability for loading/unloading up to 75 lbs
- Exceptional safety record and defensive driving habits
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
