Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within 250-mile radius
- Maintain meticulous electronic and physical logbooks per FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Uphold strict on-time delivery standards with 99%+ performance
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
