Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across various routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product integrity.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery details.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer skills for log entry and reporting.
