Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is road-ready.
- Complete all necessary logbooks, delivery paperwork, and delivery receipts accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean driving record at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) issued by the State of California.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
