Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver at Prime Inc., you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining our high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) and trailers to deliver freight on time and in excellent condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Manage all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs (ELD).
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and handle long-haul driving as required.
