Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while adhering to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cargo area and truck cab.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the terminal.
