Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (EOBR) and mileage records.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel long distances and work varying shifts as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
