Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete all required paperwork, including bill of lading, delivery receipts, and electronic logging device (ELD) logs accurately and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company at customer facilities.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your cargo, and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. (CDL Training Provided for qualified candidates with no experience).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for log completion and safety compliance.
