Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently on interstate and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, adhering to weight and balance standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure all delivery documentation is completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
