Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records for all hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any route deviations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself, your cargo, and the public.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- No more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
