Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport goods safely and efficiently throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and customer service during every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (no restrictions).
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and cargo securement methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing routes and weather conditions.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate interstate commerce vehicles.
