Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all shipments are secured properly for safe transit.
- Complete and maintain accurate Driver Qualification Files (DQF), logs (ELD), and daily vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Navigate efficiently through various routes, including urban and highway environments in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT Physical.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to pass a drug screen and background check.
