Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secure and properly distributed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow delivery schedules and maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and demonstrate the physical stamina required for the job.
- Strong understanding of US DOT regulations and FMCSA safety standards.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
