Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions and terrains.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to HOS regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current Medical Card and negative DOT drug screen.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overnight travel and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and bending.
