Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required documentation.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Adhere to company policies regarding speed limits, traffic laws, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor.
