Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and report any defects.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and route changes.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel regionally and potentially long-haul as business demands.
