Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service.
- Ensure cargo is delivered on time and in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and road regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean MVR record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, logbooks, and cargo securement.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.
