Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all shipments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Ensure the cargo area is kept clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of logistics and freight handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
