Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (tractor-trailers) safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, straps, etc.) to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, traffic signals, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding cargo status and delays.
- Uphold our high standards of customer service and company reputation.
Qualifications
- Clean CDL Class A license (or Class B if specified for local, but A is standard for long haul). Valid Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and FMCSA regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
