Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and professional manner on routes to Texas and beyond.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet compliance programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
