Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to receive load assignments and route updates.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) issued by the state of Nevada.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious traffic violations.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions.
