Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks for long-haul and regional routes across Oregon and Washington
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking and communication with dispatch
- Secure and verify cargo documentation at pickup/delivery points
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Portland metro area and Pacific Northwest routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
