Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment on highways and local roads.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all freight is properly secured.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and fuel calculations.
