Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes across Florida
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and maintain accurate HOS logs
- Inspect, secure, and verify cargo documentation before departure
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Florida highway systems and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement if required
