Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on local and regional routes within the Houston metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring freight integrity and proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records in accordance with Hours of Service regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the proper endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and a clean DOT Drug Screen.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment physical.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
