Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across designated routes in the Houston metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and defensive driving techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Must pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Houston area preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Must be 21+ years of age
