Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional routes within North Carolina
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre-trip inspections and documentation
- Manage delivery schedules with precision and efficiency
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight regional trips (2-4 nights/week)
- Basic navigation skills using GPS technology
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to undergo paid orientation program
