Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional and dedicated routes
- Pre-trip inspections and documentation compliance
- Timely delivery of freight while maintaining FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Utilize ELD systems for accurate logging and reporting
- Maintain clean driving record and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California roadways and regulations
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
