Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
