Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Secure cargo and verify inventory upon transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Houston metro area navigation
- Flexible schedule including early starts
