Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles over-the-road and within designated regional routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Maintain professional communication with customers and warehouse personnel
- Document delivery receipts and resolve shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
