Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers on highways and local roads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
