Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local and regional routes within Florida and the Southeast.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring security and safety of goods.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DOT compliant) and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
