Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records of shipments
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict schedules while maintaining safety-first approach
- Complete necessary paperwork for each shipment and incident reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
